A few helpful things to know
Good plans begin
with clear answers.
Planning a celebration or bringing a group together should feel enjoyable from the start. Here are answers to common questions about our activity-planning consultations, what you can expect and how we agree the details.
About our service
What does Let’s Go Play help with?
We provide activity-planning consultations for celebrations, social gatherings, group activities and leisure occasions. Depending on your requirements, a consultation may help you explore ideas, compare suitable activity options, consider a budget, organise a schedule and identify practical preparation steps.
The scope of each consultation is agreed with you before work begins.
What kinds of occasions can I ask about?
You can enquire about birthdays, family celebrations, friendly get-togethers, group leisure days and other occasions where you would like help thinking through activity ideas and arrangements. Tell us what you have in mind and we can discuss whether it fits our consultation service.
Do you organise the entire event for me?
Our service focuses on planning guidance and consultation. This may include ideas, suggested schedules, budget considerations and preparation recommendations.
Venue reservations, supplier bookings, ticket purchases, equipment hire and on-site event delivery are not automatically included. Any additional arrangement must be discussed and expressly agreed in advance.
Can you work with a particular budget?
Yes. You can share an approximate budget range in your enquiry. We can use it as a planning consideration when discussing activity ideas and possible arrangements. Any figures or cost estimates are indicative unless a specific amount has been confirmed by the relevant provider.
Can I enquire if I have no clear idea yet?
Absolutely. A rough description is enough to begin. You might tell us the occasion, approximate group size, preferred atmosphere and any budget considerations. We can use that information to discuss a suitable direction for the consultation.
Enquiries and booking
How do I get started?
Send an enquiry through our Contact page or email hello@letsgoplay.fun. Include a brief description of your occasion, what you would like help with and any relevant timing or budget preferences.
Does submitting an enquiry confirm my booking?
No. Submitting an enquiry allows us to understand your requirements and discuss availability and service options. It does not, by itself, confirm an appointment or create a confirmed service booking.
We will explain the proposed scope, applicable fee, delivery arrangements and relevant terms before asking you to confirm the service.
What information should I include in my enquiry?
A useful starting point is the type of occasion, approximate group size, preferred date or time frame, general location if relevant, activity interests and approximate budget. You do not need to provide every detail immediately.
Please avoid sending unnecessary personal information about yourself or other attendees.
How will I know whether my request can be supported?
We will review the information you provide and respond with the consultation options we can offer. If your request falls outside our service scope, requires an arrangement we do not provide or needs further clarification, we will explain this before any service is confirmed.
Fees and payment
How much does a consultation cost?
The fee depends on the type of consultation, the scope of planning support requested and the work involved. We will explain the applicable price and what it includes before you confirm the service.
No additional work should be treated as included unless it has been agreed as part of the service scope.
When will I be asked to pay?
The payment timing and available payment method will be explained before your booking is confirmed. Depending on the agreed arrangement, payment may be requested before the consultation or by another expressly agreed time.
Please follow the payment instructions supplied with your service confirmation.
Are venue, supplier or activity costs included?
Not unless the agreed service description specifically says so. A consultation fee covers the work described in your confirmation. Venue charges, tickets, travel, equipment, catering or third-party services are separate unless their inclusion and cost have been expressly agreed.
Could there be additional charges?
If you request extra work beyond the agreed scope, we will explain the proposed additional fee and any effect on the delivery schedule before proceeding. Additional charges should not be incurred without your agreement, except where a clearly applicable contractual term or legal rule provides otherwise.
Consultation and delivery
How is the consultation delivered?
The format will be agreed before the service is confirmed. Depending on the arrangement, it may involve email correspondence, a remote discussion or written planning guidance. Your confirmation will explain the format applicable to your consultation.
When will I receive the agreed work?
The expected delivery date or time frame will be provided when the service is agreed. Timing depends on the scope of work, the information available and any agreed consultation schedule.
If we identify a material delay, we will contact you with an updated estimate and discuss any appropriate next steps.
What will I receive after the consultation?
Depending on the agreed scope, the output may include recommendations, activity ideas, a suggested schedule, budget considerations, a preparation checklist or written follow-up notes. The exact deliverables will be explained before the consultation is confirmed.
Can I ask for changes to the planning suggestions?
If revisions are included in your agreed service, the confirmation will explain the permitted scope and how to request them. Changes that materially expand the original request may require a revised fee or delivery estimate, which we will discuss with you first.
Do you guarantee that an activity or venue will be available?
No. Planning suggestions are not a guarantee of availability, suitability or pricing from an independent venue or activity provider. Where relevant, details should be checked directly with the provider before you make a commitment.
Changes and cancellation
Can I change my consultation appointment?
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change an agreed appointment. We will review the request and explain the available alternatives. A change is subject to confirmation and may affect the delivery schedule.
What if I need to cancel?
Please notify us by email as soon as you can. The applicable cancellation terms, any agreed charges and the treatment of payments will depend on the service agreement and applicable consumer law.
Please read our Service Cancellation Policy for further details.
Can I receive a refund?
Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances, the stage of the service, the agreed terms and any applicable statutory rights. We will explain the relevant arrangements before you confirm a service.
Nothing in our terms is intended to exclude or restrict consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Are there special cancellation rights for online bookings?
Some distance service contracts entered into by consumers may carry a statutory 14-day cancellation period. The applicable rules and exceptions depend on the nature of the service and the circumstances of the agreement.
If you ask us to begin work during a statutory cancellation period, any required request, acknowledgement or information will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Please consult the Service Cancellation Policy for our cancellation arrangements.
What happens if you need to change an agreed arrangement?
If an unexpected issue affects an agreed consultation or delivery arrangement, we will contact you to explain the situation and discuss a reasonable alternative. Where appropriate, available options may include a revised time, an alternative delivery arrangement or another remedy provided by the applicable agreement or law.
